Food at both The Luke (Lucas Oil Stadium) and the now defunct Hoosier dome (RCA has no right to name my memories) is both bland and crazy expensive. So, instead of shelling out $7.50 for nachos, or 8 bucks for a personal pizza from Whatever Chain Bought the Rights This Year, I suggest eating before or after the game. For a great night out, try the famous St. Elmo’s Steak House. The atmosphere is simultaneously casual and elite, and if you are lucky, you might catch a member of the Colts eating there. The menu is simple: steak. The shrimp cocktail is legendary, and will burn your mouth off if you aren’t ready for it. It’ll cost you around $120 to take a date, but both for the food and the atmosphere it’s worth it. St. Elmo’s is an obvious answer because…it’s just that good.

If you want to go cheap, walk a couple of blocks to the downtown Steak N’ Shake on Maryland. It’s open late and a Bacon and Cheese Double with onion rings and a shake is absolutely unbeatable. You can always grab a Takhomasak and eat on the go.
